Emirates offer special fares to its Tanzanian Customers

Dar-es-Salaam: June 7, 012: Emirates customers in Tanzania can now enjoy up to 20% off their airfares while travelling to a wide range of destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Americas, following the launch of a special fare campaign which runs until the end of June, 2012.

Emirates' special Economy Class fares to the Americas now start from US $1791 to Seattle in the United States and US $1669 to Sao Paulo, Brazil. The special fares offer also applies to Seoul from US $1857, Osaka from US $2267, Muscat from US $546, Frankfurt from US $916, Dusseldorf from US $896, Hamburg from US $889, and Munich from US $902.

Unveiling the new fares and stopover offer, Emirates Country Manager for Tanzania, Abdulaziz Al Hai said the offer was part of the airline’s mission to make travel as comfortable and affordable as possible for its Tanzanian customers this summer.

“As an airline we are committed this market and we shall continue to provide our customers in Tanzania outstanding value for money proposition as we offer the most attractive travel experience available. Our special fares to some of Emirates’ most popular destinations represent a very significant saving, meaning that there has never been a better time to book a holiday, business trip or to visit friends or relatives overseas,” said Al Hai.

He continued: “In addition to offering value for money, we continue to link Tanzania to its key markets across the world as we enable the country to continue to build on its historical and trade relations with some of its major trade partners like the Germany.”

The bilateral trade volume between Germany and Tanzania grew by 51 per cent to 294 million Euros in 2011, according to preliminary data from German Embassy in Dar-es- Salaam. The Tanzanian imports doubled to 161.5 million Euros in 2011, while the German
exports to Tanzania rose by 16 per cent to 132 million Euros. Tanzania is ranked 9th among the sub-Saharan countries trading with Germany.

The fares are valid for ticketing on or before June 30th 2012 for travel on or before August 15th 2012. All fares are quoted on a return basis, are inclusive of all taxes and can be purchased from Emirates sales offices or through authorized travel agents.
